Letter from home, #2.

Setting the Scene for a Grade 4 Databse Project.

Letter 2:

Dear mom and dad, this place stinks. I hate it here. Why did you send me here? Last year I was nice and warm and loved the camp! Now it is dark and cold and we never get to have any fun. Being more than 2 billion miles from the sun is not my idea of a summer camp.

They sent us out on a treasure hunt yesterday that was kind of fun, though. We got these special little space vehicles that let us zip around, and we discovered all of our stuff first and won! At first we were looking on our planet, but then we heard on our space radios that one group found something on a moon, so all the rest of us high tailed it out to the moons. Everything was hidden on the moons! What a fantastic time it was zipping around in our space vehicle. My partner was on Venus last year, too.

Well, I'll be glad to get home. It sure seems like night time is shorter here.
