Letter from home, #1.

Setting the Scene for a Grade 4 Databse Project.

Letter 1:

Dear mom and dad, did we have fun today! I am less than 90 million miles from the sun! WOW! You should see all the solar prominences! We were looking at the sun through this special instrument that blocks out all the bad sun rays, and lets us see only the outer rim of the sun. It is so much bigger here than on Earth!

I don't like the thermal play wear you got me. It is itchy, so I borrowed a thermal suit from my new friend. This place is incredible! Did you know that a day on this planet is twice as long as a year? You don't have to worry about me staying up all night! We'll never have a night! That was just a joke, mom. They do make us sleep.
