Anasazi Projects

The following projects were done in the Gifted class by third grade START students.

An Anasazi basket, by Brianna. I took a piece of paper and colored it. I drew lines around, because the Anasazi made their pottery that way. I folded it so that it looked like a basket.

An Anasazi house by Ross. These are two pictures of the same thing. It is an Anasazi house that I sculped from clay. I got the design from a book Mrs. Miller happened to have around the START room. It is an average house that the Anasazis lived in. This little project was very easy and fun to make.

A cliff dwelling, by Elisabeth. I made this from clay. I got the design from a packet of information on Anasazi.

An Anasazi corn grinder, by Whitney. I got the design from a book and I made it out of brown and green clay. The big part of the green is the grinder and the small part of the green is the flour made from the corn. The brown part is the stone where you grind the corn.
