Most clothing was made of leather (from buffalo) beads, and feathers. Now they wear cloths like you and me, but they still wear traditional clothing during special occasions.
These are the jobs of the Sioux Indians.
Men hunt, tame horses, and some men were warriors. Women taking care
of the house, taking care of the children, preparing food and farming.
The children's jobs were too help tame horses, and today they have too
go too school.
They ate buffalo, wolf meat, and corn.
They hunted buffalo where tall grass grew.
These are the ''Interesting Facts.'' The men and women were trained to be doctors. They had prayer huts called ''Sweat Lodges.'' Can you believe that when the warriors painted there bodies they wouldn't leave without painting there horses first!? They had special songs and ceremonies for the sick too. The children also painted their faces. Crazy Horse (a famous warrior), was in those tribes too, so was Sitting Bull, another famous warrior. That is all I need to say about the Sioux Indians.
